Getting Started with Your Dashboard
Welcome to this quick tour of the Marketing Manager dashboard! This guide is designed to give you the lay of the land without diving too deep—perfect for introducing new team members or refreshing your own understanding of where everything lives in the system.
Dashboard Overview
When you first log in, you'll see four main metrics at the top of your dashboard:
- Revenue: Shows your total sales tracked this month and lifetime
- Reach: Displays new members this month and active members lifetime
- Retention: Highlights recaptured revenue from win-back emails and the lifetime spend of returning customers
- Reputation: Currently features Yelp ratings and Smart Survey information
Calendar Features
The dashboard includes a calendar view where you can:
- See all auto-triggered emails at a glance
- Identify sent emails (shown in blue)
- View scheduled emails (shown in green)
- Click the "plus more" button to see details for any specific day
- Click on individual emails to view their performance metrics
Activity Stream
The activity stream shows you real-time actions happening in your loyalty program. While not essential to monitor constantly, it's a nice way to stay updated on recent program activity.
Email Performance Tracking
In the Sent Promotions and Lift areas, you'll find:
- Performance data for your last five emails
- Sales tracking that attributes transactions to email opens (when a customer opens an email and makes a purchase within seven days)
- Key metrics for each campaign
Menu Navigation
The side menu gives you access to:
- Dashboard: Your home base with the overview we just covered
- Promotions: View your marketing calendar and campaign manager
- Members: Access your customer database with customizable columns and filters
- Surveys: Manage any custom surveys you've created
- Community Connection: Set up and track community engagement initiatives
Reports Section
The Reports section offers valuable insights including:
- Quick Stats: Enrollments, orders, sales, average order value, and busiest periods
- Month-by-Month Comparisons: Generate custom charts for metrics like new member signups and total sales
- Smart Survey Responses: View customer feedback (available with premier accounts)
- Promotions Reports: Track sent, redeemed, and opened promotions, plus unsubscribes
- Member Analytics: View available offers, frequency, rewards, and average spending patterns
Resources Area
The Resources section typically contains:
- Links to your promotional materials
- In-store marketing assets
- Web page management tools
