How does the DRYVER Toast Integration work?

Below is an explanation of how the different parts of your Dryver program integrates with Toast. Anything with an asterisk beside it is a feature of the Accelerate tier and not included in the Ignite tier.

Opt-Ins - people can sign-up to the program through the following paths:

  • Progressive Web App Opt-In Page - here’s an example: https://app.rewardmebaby.com/firebrew
  • Messenger Comment Growth Tool* - A Messenger autoresponse to anyone who comments on your Facebook page posts.  They'll receive an automated invite to join your program through the enrollment questions sent through Messenger.  If they're already a member, they'll be invited to check their points and offers.
  • Facebook Ads*
  • People can be manually enrolled by Restaurant through our Point of Marketing (POM) site that’s intended to be restaurant staff/Manager facing - Here’s a short video on how the POM works - Click HERE to watch.
  • Online Ordering - We will automatically enroll anyone who provides both email and phone number or is logged in with their actual Toast account. They will then get the email labelled “Welcome Email (Pre-Enrollment)” in the Campaign Manager, which thanks them for their online order and delivers the welcome offer(s).

    *These entry points are only available for programs on the Accelerate tier.


Checking Account - Points & Available Offers

  • Sign-In to their account through the Progressive Web App (same page as opt-ins, it has a sign-up portion) - An example of this if you opted-in above  https://app.rewardmebaby.com/firebrew
  • If someone signs up through any non-Opt-In Page option, they’ll need to put their email in the sign-in, then check the box that says I don’t have a password and go to their email to collect their code to get started on creating a password for their account.
  • Lookup in Toast through Email, Phone, or Name - Please note that when a loyalty member is added to an order, their loyalty first and last name over-write the Tabname in Toast - if you use the Tabname field in any part of your process, including Takeout orders, let us know ASAP

  • Lookup in the POM

Redeeming Offers & Collecting Rewards Points

  • Use Toast's Lookup function to find accounts and add them to the order. To avoid the Tabname being overwritten, do this at the end just before cashing them out.

    Here is an example of how to attach a Rewards member to an order in Toast:


    If you have the QR Code function set up for your rewards members in their account, your Toast system can scan the QR Codes to look the people up.  See videos below.

    How do I lookup people on my Toast handheld?  It's very similar to how you would do it on the terminal.  Please watch the following video for instructions.



    Here is a couple examples of how to redeem an offer in Toast: 

  • If you have Toast Pay at the Table, the staff will need to add the loyalty member to the order at the Toast terminal after the order is submitted before they pay.
  • Use the Point of Marketing (POM) website to look them up and process a transaction (see the video in the Opt-In section that walks through how the POM works)
